What the heck...

Okay so here how it ll went down. I was listening to my 80g zune, nothing special, set it down, and went to bed. At the time it was fully charged. About ten minutes went by and I decided to listen to it for a little while. I picked it up, and nothing. I pushed buttons, button combos and nothing. I pushed hold on and off while hitting play, and nothing. The screen was just black, like when its off. I tried charging it (via AC adapter) and it remained off. When i plugged it in my computer an error message came "USB device not reconized". Zune software won't even reconize my zune. It does absolutley nothing, no matter what i do. Any ideas, or reasons why it won't work? Should i send it in? Is it dead? I've waited for over 24 hours and nothing.

Thats very weird, best option is to send it in to have it repaired. I dont think its anything to do with software or firmware its seems to be a hardware problem.

Sounds like a defect.
