Wow... so something very wierd is going on with my zune. Apparently, my back button decided to take on the extra roll of being back on the touch pad. Now, whenever i'm on "now playing" and click "back" to go to main menu, it acts as if I pressed back on the touch pad(restarting the song) and then goes back. This presents problem for things like listening to radio(pressing back changes the station) and just about everything else. Could this to have anything to do with XNA 3.0 games..?

Whats strange is the back button works as a back button in games, it appears to be only in the zune firmware.
I did, and i'm getting the same thing

Wait I don't think you should do that. Are we allowed to have Games on Zune yet?

Yes, of course we are. Why would they release it to the public if we weren't?

Lol >.< But, apparently I shouldn't have put them on if this is in fact what messed up my button inputs in my zune.

That's what "Beta" is. It's a way for a software company to test the software in environments that aren't "perfect".

So should I just clear the firmware? if so, could someone explain how exactly that works, I just do the button combo and then plug it into the software once everything is cleared?

Man, I guess i'll have to, but I just don't want to have to send my zune back for repair again. waiting 3 weeks last time was unbearable.

IT couldn't have been the games, because they don't have direct access. Me thinks that it is the faceplate, because the back button quits games, so it wouldn't really be noticeable in games. I'm guessing that the two buttons got sticky underneath (It happens!!!!
) and work "as a team" now. You could send it in, or you could remove the faceplate and fix it yourself. Would you like to know how to remove the faceplate?P.S. IT voids your warranty ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :e ek:
