[SOLVED] Are the ID3 issues worth it?

Comin from a former vision:M user, which handled id3 data without a hitch, im looking at a zune80 and i see quite a few users are having issues with meta data, such as:

1.various artist stuff/compliation albums
2. album art for singles
3. id3 v1 vs. id3v2 issues
4. embedded album art (resizing issues?)

i am an album art/tag NAZI, and it would be really dissapointing to get a device that doesnt let me browse the way i want

plus, the software sucks

so my question is: is it worth it, and are the problems beatable without massive library organization?

since you say you are a tag-nazi, then i would say you won't have a problem. My tags are well organized and maintained and I don't have any problems with info or album art. album art is simple. just put the "zunealbumart.jpg" file in the album folder. no matter what size, it displays the entire screen on the zune. when i do have tag problems, such as "artist, the" or "the artist" they are easy and quick to fix.

well, how does the zune function with embedded album art, since that is what all 40 gb of my albums currently use...and i dont really wanna change

With the new update all the tag things are basically fixed, 2.5 was a great update for people like you.

Just make sure your tags are correct, and you will be all set. Check the tutorials section.

just use the find album info then you can make sure its right....
