Gen 2 Help with the Zune 4, 8, 16, 80, and 120.

Default <SOLVED> player wont play, Zune 80


ok everything has worked great up until a few days ago when i get this error message on my Zune that says contact support with a number 5 in top left hand corner, while at work and helpless i had to let the battery die on me because it would not turn off on me. After I charged and booted up my Zune when i try to play anything from podcasts to music it has "The Item is missing or can't be played", then i get sad. I later go home top try to sync up thinking my subscription has not been updated or something right, well it still wont play anything. What im trying to avoid is a complete reformat but am willing to do it if their is no more ideas or hope left for me.

Im also sorry for this long description but any help is greatly thanked.

try doing hard reset?

if you could explain this "hard reset" a little, will this delete anything in my zune and also whats the button combo ive tried back button and up a few minuets ago but no effect

OMG!!!!!!! im so sorry i forgot to reply as solved, well the verdict is I had to do a complete restart firmware and all to get anything to play. But after 3000 songs and countless gigs of video I was saddened by the outcome but I am slowly regaining my previous collection plus a few more songs but overall it is solved.
