Other way around, BearShare is the one WITH the viruses and spyware. I know about 6 people with BearShare and 5 out of the 6 had to reformat their computers due to viruses recieved from it. I have Limwire for over two years without a single problem.

If I were you, I would get rid of BearShare, but thats up to you if you want to

Bearshare=FAIL.
I suggest using Bittorrent with thepiratebay(google)
Fast and virus free.

Actually, just get a good anti-spyware/AV and just quarantine the Malware, and you'll have a clean Bearshare.

Soulseek, torrents and limewire/frostwire/(all the other wires out there)

i personally use soulseek.
