Default Anyone else have this issue? Is it a bug - radio/audio loss?

I have an 8gb Zune and it's brand new. My husband also has one and it does the same thing, so I'm wondering if this is some kind of bug. If you follow the steps below, does your Zune do the same as mine?

1. Start listening to the radio.
2. Put the Zune into standby.
3. Activate the hold switch.
4. Wait a few and deactivate the hold switch.
5. Go to radio and try to listen to a station.

At this point, I get no audio and have to go into a podcast/music file to get the audio back. Then, switch back to radio to listen to the radio.

never had that problem... you can try a hard reset on your zune.. (deletes everything including firmware) and then reinstall it again... and see if that still happens..

No, sorry. I just tried it. At first I thought I was having the same issue as you are, but it turned out that it had automatically paused itself.

yeah, I guess it could be a bug. What happens is when you put it on standby it just hits pause and goes standby, it stays in radio mode. So when you de-idle it, it goes to the main menu but is still in radio mode so if you hit radio it just goes back to the radio dial without hitting play again (to avoid blipping if you were browsing and go to the main menu and hit radio while listening to radio).

In short, when this happens hit play after turning off hold

Same here, klar all you have to do is press the play button and it will resume playing the radio.

Absolutely awesome, folks! Thank you for the help. Pressing play afterwards worked.
