Default [SOLVED] manual sync 80gb zune

hi. i jus got my 80gb zune yesterday and i realize wen i put thing in my collection and delete them they get delete of my zune as well.i was looking at a video on manual sync but realized it is not the same version software that i have. is there a way to manual sync a 80gb zune because i dont want to leave all this music on mi computer. plz help tanks

well... first off, you go to settings.. remove all the files being monitored.. 2nd.. if you want to sync it yourself.. press forget this device.. and use as a guest...

It deletes because of how the software works. When you sync something with your zune it creates a 'sync group,' so when you edit it on the software it edits it on your zune. When you delete it, it deletes it off of your zune. The only way to get around it is using the method mentioned above by runtohell121. It sucks, I know. The old software had a great manual sync.

ok. i did the forget the device thing then it tell s you to reconnect device then gives u option. i choose let me do it miself instead of auto sync but it stills delete my stuff. are you telling me that when ever i add on new music r stuff i have to forget the device. is there a way to get the old software with the better sync option and put it on my zune?

i think i get it done. i now see the option about allowing the zune to be a guest always thanks a lot guys

Just leave it on guest mode, no need to do it for every sync.
