Question Zune 80 music sync

I am a new Zune user and every time I plug my Zune 80g it automatically syncs the contents of my "My Music" folder. I do not have a problem with this, and saw in the settings where I could manually sync files if I prefer.

What is irritating me, though, is any music I remove from my computer's "My Music" folder is automatically deleted from my Zune. I want to load music onto my Zune and then delete them from my computer WITHOUT losing the collection on my Zune. How can I do this? Help!

You cant manual sync. To keep the files on the zune but not on the pc you have to sync as a guest.

Go to settings and click forget this device.

it's a little more elaborate than that.

go to setting and click forget this device after you sync what you want to your zune.
then disconnect the Zune and delete what you want from your computer.
connect your Zune again and when your Zune program pops up, choose "connect as guest" if you can.
but soemtimes you can't.
so just choose to manually sync EVERYTHING. you'll have the option.
manually sync the music, videos, podcasts, and pics.
EVERYTHING!

your problem should be solved now!

your welcome!

To simplify that.

1. Settings>Device>Forget This Device
2. Unplug your Zune
3. Plug in your Zune and choose guest mode.
