If this is in the wrong section mods please move.
Well yeah heres a question to all my fellow zune 80 owners out their. Is your Zune 80's back button and play/pause button kind of flimsy?? Like they rock back and forth a little?? Like a little loose...not solid like a cell phones buttons... Just wondering because my first zune 80 has a semi flimsy back and play/pause buttons. Also my current zune 80 originals has semi flimsy buttons as well. So I was wondering are your zune 80's buttons kind of flimsy too??? Like when you run your finger back and forth over it, it kind of moves...

Well if it sticks out a bit I would assume it moves? I have a Zune 30 so I don't know but they way it looks, it looks like it would move a little bit.

Good to hear I'm not the only zune 80 owner with a zune 80 that buttons do this. Yeah I kind of had a idea that they were all probably built like this, but had no friends/knew anyone near me with a zune 80. To see if theirs did the same. Thanks everyone who posted about their 80's buttons. Makes me feel good to know my zune ain't built wrong or is defective or anything. Kind of bugs me though...but I'll get over it.

I never noticed that until you said something, but even then I had to really look close and pay very close attention to see if they did infact move. They did but it was ever so slight, I would have never tripped on it.

Yeah I noticed the little flimsy buttons like the 3rd day of me having my zune. Only because I would always closely inspect it to make sure it's in good condition. Either way it's good to know I'm not the only one...like I said before. But either way with semi flimsy buttons the zune 80 is the best compared to most mp3 players! Just the thought of knowing that they are flimsy annoys me though.. but I guess I'm just going to have to get over it.

I don't agree that the buttons lack material strength or solidity, they just aren't set in concrete

midget my hold button is tight, like it's too far in. Semi-hard to move it and put my zune on hold. So was my first zune 80, maybe your is faulty by some chance...if it's like really loose like really really really loose that it kinds looks/feels like it's popping up. Call MS.
@gotzune? I agree with you 100% it's just that it still bothers me, and theirs nothing we can do about it so... oh well.

i got the same thing. its because of the shape of the actually button behind the cover. it isn't very wide, so it pushes up in the middle only, allowing the button to rock a bit.

I'm also scared of abusing that little button, it feels weak, i have to use it a lot since most of the time my zune is on my jeans with lots of other stuff.
