Default Meta Data Problem

Hi guys. I don't know why this hasn't been mentioned yet. I'm pretty sure this doesn't only happen to me, but some of the videos i convert don't organize to music videos, TV shows, movies, etc. even when they are in wmv format. Sometimes i have to convert them to .mp4 format THEN convert them to .wmv for them to show up in the right place. I use imTOO Zune Video Converter 3 and Cucusoft DVD to Zune Converter. I organize my videos with the zMeta program. Sometimes when i directly convert to wmv, the sound quality becomes really bad as well.

Yeah the lnik random667 posted is a link to how to organize videos on your zune, just follow it step by step. It should be easy and work, if not please post back here. And we'll try to find another solution to your problem. Zune On!

Did you try the 2.0.0.3 beta?

tigo tago does work on vista. Just run it in compatibility mode with admin rights, and whatever you do don't rightclick or use a drop down menu. Also the beta doesn't work on vista, atleast for me. The reason this is happening is because the zune sofware isn't set to monitor changes in that specific area of the metadata. To make them categorize correctly remove them from the library before or after you make the changes, then add them back when you are done. It will see it then. Also, you got zMeta to work on vista! How. I have tried every version and it just dies

have you tried using zmeta to edit your meta data for .wmv? Also, i don't think mp4 will work with the meta data thing.

It doesn't matter if you prefer tigo tago or zmeta. Migetdiablo can't use tigotago so his only choice is other meta editing software other than tigo tago. Zmeta is specifically made for zune and it should work perfectly.

Like i said. I use wmv's for zMeta and some of the videos just stay in all video on my device. I KNOW it doesn't work with mp4 files. And also, my biggest problem is not that they aren't put into the right categories, it's because of the sound quality i get when i directly convert a video to wmv format.

Sounds like you are using a not-so-good coonverter, check the link in my signature for a free converter.

when you change the category, delete the video from the library, then add it again. Zune only recongnizes changes by it and wmp

Make sure your audio for the .wmv video are set to reasonable bitrate. eg. 128kb/s minimum
