I have a computer at home and a computer at work that has my music on it, and I did the drag / drop into the zune from the computer at home. Now I have all those files in the collection at home, but I would like to be able to make playlists and stuff from work, but I don't want to mess up the file hierarchy that I have at work already. Is there anyway to add songs into the "Collection" without having to recopy everything from the zune?

The files on your work computer will act as its own library, it shouldn't delete anything

I'm not exactly worried about the deleting part, since I've found that if you drag folders into the software, it will not delete the files on my player even if i move them. The thing I wanted to know was if there was a way to import my playlists, music, videos, etc. from my zune without having to resync everything.
For example, if I had the song, "Offspring - Bad Habit" on my zune, and home computer where I synced it from, and made a playlist called "Offspring". I have that song at work too, but when I log on as a guest, I can't see it on my collection, so I can't add it to my "Offspring" playlist if I wanted to, say, add "Offspring - Mota" onto it. Is there anyway to view the files that I have on my Zune so I could do something like that? Or would I have to dump everything, then remake a new playlist? Would the HD hack work? |
