I am currently in a dilemma and am in need of any comments or suggestions...
I am having problems with my 80gb Zune and Zune software renaming my MP4 vidoes with duplicate names of other videos. I have read many threads about this problem and they all seem to say that I must convert my MP4 videos to WMV format because MP4 does not hold meta data, but I also own a PSP and my brother owns an iPod which only play MP4 format videos. This would mean that I would have to have 2 copies of each video, one in each format but I have over 100+ individual videos which would take a long time to convert and alot of memory. Is there any way to name MP4 format videos without them getting renamed in the Zune software? I have tried many different programs to do this but none have worked so far. Does anyone have any ideas of what I should do? Thanks in advance Last edited by JPizz : 03-01-2008 at 11:23 AM. ![]() |

Try right clicking on a .mp4 file in windows explorer, going to the advance tab, and editing the info there.

I typed the name of the movie in under title and pressed apply but when I imported it into the Zune sofware the name changed back to the wrong title it had been before. But then when I went back into windows explorer and right clicked on the mp4 file again and clicked on the advance tab it still had the correct title I had typed in. So I'm thinking it has something to do with the Zune software.
