Z80 + IS = (Insert a case that fits here)

Well yeah heres my current situation, I used to use the zuneone's elite crystal case (smoke) for my zune 80. But recently I bought an invisible shield (IS) for my zune 80, a full body one. So now my zune has a new IS on it. But now my zune has to be forced into the case, and is incredibly hard to take out. So I was just wondering do you guys know any leather cases or hard cases that will fit my zune 80 with the shield on it? Now the shield doesn't add much bulk. I dont use a case for my zune atm besides the shield, but still if it drops it's screwed because the IS is mainly for scratch proof. Many Thanks in advance.

Oh yah will post pics of my zune 80 w/ the shield on it in my old thread tomorrow. My camera is on the fritz and isn't working.

YOu could use buy the leather case from one of zuneboard's sponsers. You could checked them out in zunecentive section

I don't understand why it's so tight. I am using ZuneOne's crystal case with a DecalGirl skin and there aren't any problems. The InvisibleShields aren't any thicker.

^^^i don't think it'll fit the zune 80 with the crystal case on... and if you buy that case.. it doesn't have a screen protector thingy also.. i have the zune 4gb leather case by microsoft.. they don't offer screen protect on it.. and same on zune 80 case..

Can you not read? He's looking for a leather case that will fit with his invisibleSHIELD on.

soz... ok.. the leather case can fit it.. but if you didn't have the invisible shield on... you'll need to buy a seperate screen protector... but yes it will work, zune 80 case should fit no matter what.

Nah I'm not a fan of the official MS zune case. I was thinking about a silicone case though, like the one reviewed here. The zuneone silicone case. Im thinking since it's silicone, it'll be able to stretch a little if I squeeze it in their. Kinda disappointed my zune 80 doesn't fit in it's zuneone crystal case anymore. Oh well. Oh yah I was just wondering when will the silicone cases from zuneone be put in to zunecentive. According to lpx(if that's wrong sorry) he commented on the review that they will be added soon. Yet no silicone cases yet???
Will be on the lookout for cases, really wish some one who has an IS on there 80 with a case would just magically happen to come read this thread, and tell me which one he has.

Get a silicon case on Amazon, it's pretty cheap. It'll fit the invisibleSHIELD 100%. Check out the Zune Accessories section, I posted a deal a while back on the Zune 80 Silicon case.

Well I checked out the whole article about the silicone cases from amazon. And I might get them, the only problem I'm a little afraid of is the zune pad. With me having the IS covering the pad already, with an extra layer of silicone over it. Will it make my pad hard to use, will I lose the functionality of my pad? From the reviews on their, it says the silicone covering the pad is very thin, but still. IS + Silicone = Bad Zune Pad Functions???? Might get it, not sure yet. Oh yeah the IS does affect the zune pad's functionality, but not by much. Just swiping your finger on it feels way diff, and a little bit like you gots to do more work then normally.

Oo yeah I've seen this case before, read some good reviews on it. By the way do you have a Full Body Invisible shield on your zune with the case on it? Because that's what I'm going for, and I don't want to go buy this case and find out my zune 80 with it's Inivisible shield wont fit. Like i did with my zuneone crystal case.

Well yeah like 10min ago I tried to fit my zune 80 in to the zuneone crystal case again. And to my surprise it fits!!! Tightly though. Kind of a hassle!!!! Its extremely hard to take off , almost broke the case trying to. I guess the rubbery texture of the shield made it harder to slide out or in this case pull out. Either way doesn't seem like I'll be using this case anymore. Since I will be getting an altec lansing speaker dock m604 for only 30.00!!! Craigslist baby!!! Well yeah thinking of getting a silicone case, which will probably fit. Since there easy to take your zune in and out of, and they don't add much bulk. Will update as soon as I find a easy case for zune 80's with an IS on. Might get the one at amazon, the one jon posted a hot deal on here on zb. Just afraid that the silicone covering the zune pad will like kill my pads functionality. Because an IS plus a piece of silicone might be the thing to make using my easy functioning zune pad hard to use.
