Default How to restore My Zune 8's firmware

I updated my zune 8 firm to 2.3
and I restart my zune,it shows:
1.connect zune to your PC
2.open zune software and restore firmware...
I connect zune to PC,but PC didn't recognize zune...
I try back+play+left(center),but it didn't help...

Try updating it from a friends house.

connect to a pc,then go to settings,then device,then device update. The latest update should be 2.3

I am sorry that you may miss understanding my situation...
I get my new zune 8g,install zune software,it show update,then I update 2.3 firmware
after that I found out zune couldn't sync with PC
I tried some skills,but it didn't work,so I restore firm
but to restore firm,the first step it to connect zune to PC
PC install zune driver failed..code 10
Then stopped in the two steps,couldn't get into zune system also couldn't restore firm...
WTF!Micro$oft's zune can't install on its XP sp2..

try using unzoone,then reinstall with szip. That should take care of your problems.

I have reinstall szip,it didn't help...
I also tried back+center+play,it didn't respond,still show:

Connect Zune to your PC
On your PC, open the Zune software and restore the Zune device firmware

...

the same as ever,on zune:
Connect Zune to your PC
On your PC, open the Zune software and restore the Zune device firmware
...also with a "!" on zune device in device manage.

Did the new PC have the zune software on it?

yes...I have tried restart zune and hard reset,after that,it shows still:
1.Connect Zune to your PC
2.On your PC, open the Zune software and restore the Zune device firmware

call microsoft? if you have warranty... which i think you should... send it to them and let them fix it..

I think it might be wise to tell people not to go around removing their firmware before seeking advice about connection problems seen as its more likely a problem with the PC and not the Zune itself

If 2 different pc's dont pick up the zune,more than likely its a problem with your zune.

yea.. keep on trying on other computer.. if it doesn't work.. have to call microsoft or take it for an exchange..

MTP WPD Driver has failed to start. Error 0x80004005.
...I found it in system

I am having an EXACT same problem.... Have you found what is the problem ??? Coz i tried with 5 different PC's, hard reset etc... and still cant figure it out..
