Default zune not syncing images

Hey everyone.

Just picked up a Zune 80gb yesterday, and love it so far. Only issue...it won't sync my images. I'm running the latest software and hardware, that I know of (2.3etcetc), and I have Vista on the PC.

Every time I attempt to load images, I get a C00D11CD

I don't even know exactly what to try to figure this out. Music and Videos sync fine, it's images that I have a problem with. Any ideas?

so the images are "in" the zune software as in it was detected, but just won't sync? maybe try to also sync a picture from somewhere else, like a different folder

make sure you can see the pictures in the zune software, If not go to settings, then have zune mointor where your pics are at. that should work. Also if you turned off auto sync for pics. you have to drag and drop the pictures to your zune.

i would prefer turning off the auto-sync off everything. But make sure that you know you did it first,

I am also having the same problem with syncing my pictures.. When I first synced my pictures, videos, and music it worked fine.. But I am having the rebooting issue. So I contact support and cleared my Zune out and rinstalled the firmware. Now everything syncs, but skips over my pictures.. Dont understand why

Default Same problem, any solutions?

I'm having a similar problem as jackrockstar. It seems that certain JPEGs will sync with the device, while others won't.

I've got the latest Zune 80 version 2.3, and please note that ALL the images are viewable on the Zune Software. However, when I sync these with the device, it says "Items Skipped." These images are therefore not on the device. When I click on the yellow exclamation points by the files it skipped, it shows me Error Code C00D11CD. The Web Help does nothing for me.

What I've tried:

I've switched folders, renamed files, rebooted my PC, installed Microsoft's latest .NET Framework (ver 3.5), and uninstalled then reinstalled the Zune Software. I've also tried turning off auto-sync and manually clicking & dragging the images. Nothing I've done gets those JPEGs onto the device.

What I've noticed:
  • JPEGs originating from my camera (Canon Powershot) or my PC sync just fine to the device. Even after I add my pictures to my website and download them back to my computer, they still sync fine.
  • Wallpaper and background images downloaded from the Internet, including Zune.net and nationalgeographic.com, also work fine.
  • My problem seems to be with images that I've downloaded from the Net that were photographed by other cameras and uploaded onto other computers. For example, my brother would take pictures of New York City with his camera (Sony) and upload them to his website... they're all .jpg's. Then I would browse, download and save the ones I want, add them to the Zune Software, and view them through the Zune software fine. But once I try to sync, the device SKIPS these and gives me the error code.

Hopefully I've given enough detail, but I'm stumped. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

I'm having the same problem. I've tried most of what's been described in the posts above, and I can't get any of my pics to transfer; not even the ones from zune.net. One other thing that I've tried that I haven't seen mentioned here is that ran services.msc and rebooted the Background Intelligent Transfer Service. Still no dice.

Try completely wiping your zune and set it up again. If that doesn't work try reinstalling the software. If that still doesn't do the trick, try removing as much of the metadata as possible from the image.

Hope one of these helps
