Computer is having problems detecting the zune

I recently just got a zune 80 and when I connect it the my pc, It says new device as been connected or someting like that.. then it says device has had problems installing or something, after that I hear the usb sound of it connecting, but then it does the usb sound of it unconnecting like 1000 times.

anyway to fix this?

i tried every single usb thingy to plugin (lol im not very hardware savvy)

if there is any way to fix this problem please help me

which one do you think i should do first?
i dont like updating windows because it installs random bs on my comp

You can pick what to update for Windows. Do that first.
If not the update the Zune Driver.
If none works reinstall the software.

well i just tried everything. you said and i geuss my usb ports are messed up or something. So im going to just transfer all my music to my dads computer and just sync my zune from there =/
