Unhappy zune80 has some graphical issues

To me this is bothersome, but not really bad enough to make me regret my purchase, but i noticed this as soon as i got the zune 80 home.

The framerate is SO LOW in comparison to the zune 30.
It is still a good framerate as long as you dont have a lot of podcasts, but if you look at the exact same amount on a zune 30, you will notice a significant drop in framerate. I have some youtube videos about this. Just go to youtube and search for it, but its really bothersome.

If anyone knows why, please let me know

Default not just mine

This isn't just mine, its every zune80 i see... its not like its unusable, but its still slower than the 30 gig. That is my issue. Why did it go down on the new product?

Who knows. This is the first time I've heard of this problem.

I haven't experienced any problems at all with frame rate on my Zune 80.

i havent heard of this problem. It might be to do with the firmware because my 30 seems to go slower too now that the firmware has been updated

I haven't ever watched a movie on a 30 but I have been very satisfied with the frame rate that I see on the 80. So far i've watched 5 full movies a couple dozen TV shows and countless podcasts and I haven't ever thought that it was slow.

Default have a look at this

Here is my video that shows the comparison, it is hardly noticed due to my camera, but you can see in the podcasts.

Just so you know, its only menus that get slowed down. Movies are fine, its just the menu system is slower on the 80

My Zune80 is the same. I guess I never really thought about it since I never saw a 30 in action and everything important was super smooth. I think that since it's a ground up re-write it may take some time to get all of the performance issues worked out.

I really hope that they released another update to the software first...I can't really tell what that last update did.
