ok ive read all the posts and done everything i can but im always running into a different problem and ive been able to fix them up until now.
first i used cucusoft and it was tanking FOREVER to convert onto the zune. then i used WMM and it worked fine, updated XVID and couldnt use custom profiles, then once i got the profiles to work i had the Green bar across my vids. (i fixed this by changing the xvid decoder to compatability render. once i got that resolved it published the movies perfect, (before this the movies i made with WMM never needed converting when puting them onto the zune because i used a custom profile just right for the zune) well now the files need converting. is there anyway to not have to wait for 3 1/2 hours to conver a 2 hour movie? its really getting frustrated and im almost looking back towards an ipod if i cant get this figured out soon. |

There's free conversion software here: http://www.zuneboards.com/forums/gen...softwares.html
Basically, I'd recommend going to zune.net and making sure the videos you convert fit into the accepted profiles for you device. Also note that xvid isn't an acceptable format, even in the mp4 container

For the WMV format, make sure the video codec is Windows Media Video 9 (not 7 or 8). Also make sure the audio codec is Windows Media Audio 9.x, and that that the audio bit rate is at or below 192 kbps.
