That's why I posted multiple ways. And these are NOT wrong, I have tried these myself. So you must have did something wrong dude. But the ones that definately worked were

You just said what mine said to do but more elaborate. And on the pad sometimes the buttons get stuck so it could be center or left I suppose. Bottom line, there's always a way to make it work.

how long does it take to delete everything?
i did it and its taking forever.
oh and whats the firmware?

so, holding right, center and back is just like formating it? You can put the files back on it after, right?
