Zune Hardware Won'

Hey guys, Ive put in about four hours trying to get my new 80gb zune to install. What happens is after i download the software, (and Ive tried unzooning it and then using the SZIP [Superior Zune Installation Program] v.1 and 2), I plug in the Zune and the found new hardware wizard comes up and says "An error occured in the instillation of this device. The system cannot find the file specified." Ive tried every USB port, tried reinstalling the drivers through the device manager (which made the same message pop up again), and tried getting a new cable. The zune does charge, but the software dosen't recognise it at all and the device manager shows it with an ! over it. Any suggestions? Oh and I did disable my norton installing the software. Im running windows XP 2002 Home Edition with Service Pack 2 installed.

Is there a specific error code and error description shown when you right click on the ! in device manager and select properties?

If the error is Code18 - drivers are not installed, you can try choosing to update the driver manually and then pointing the wizard to your ..\program files\zune\driver\zune directory.

ive been having the same problem as ankea with my 4 gig.. and i have tried ur advice numerous times but my computer always tells me it cant find the file in the folder. i even checked the folder and found all the files necessary..

any more advice?

Run UnZoone and install from the full package.
