Question Setup help out to sea

OPERATING SYSTEM
======================
Windows XP

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
=======================
I just ordered a Zune 80 and it's being shipped to me. I just want to know if I can set it up without an internet connection because I'm deployed and unable to connect it to the net.

THINGS ATTEMPTED SO FAR
===========================
Researching, like I said it isn't here yet. Just want to see if I need my wife to set it up for me before she ships it to me, although I'd prefer not she's 'technilogically challenged' if you know what I mean.

HAVE YOU SEARCHED ONLINE/ZUNEBOARDS TO FIND A SOLUTION?
================================================== ========
Yes and most things say you need to connect to get it to work, so I hope either I'm a tool and didn't read the right thing or there is another workaround.

Really appreciate any help, and I can't wait to get my Zune.

Your ok you can use SZIP2 which does not require an internet connection to setup the software however your going to need an internet connection to actually get it.

You can find szip2 on this site.

I still haven't got my zune yet but I downloaded and installed sZip2. Shouldn't I be able to run the software without the zune? Everytime I run it the opening screen pops up for a second and then goes away. I thought I could set everything up so when the zune gets here I can just sync up, am I wrong?

I have uninstalled with Un Zoone and reinstalled numerous times and every time I get the same "Where's my collection?" error. It says; Everything is right where you left it. Zune is recovering from an error and needs to reassemble your collection. You'll need to reconfigure your device relationship, sync groups, and podcast subscriptions (if any). Sorry for the inconvenience! Then the splash screen comes up for a second before closing itself. Any help?
