After discussing this between Dizzy and myself we have come up with a new style of requesting for help on the Zune Support Forums. From here on out members will be required* to use this Help Template. Using this Template will greatly enhance the help that we as Support Staff can give. Also it may very well streamline the help for you, thus making it faster for you to get all issues fixed.
When doing this Support Template its important to note that the more descriptive you are with it, the easier and faster it is to actually get the assistance you need. When filling out the sections for it be sure to describe everything in as much detail as possible as well as providing Images and all error codes you receive (If possible). Code:

VERSION OF ZUNE SOFTWARE/FIRMWARE ===================================== Please let us know exactly what Version of the Zune Software/Firmware you are using. That way we know what to expect if anything. OPERATING SYSTEM ====================== What Operating System are you using? PROBLEM DESCRIPTION ======================= Here is where you as a user will describe your problem in detail. Please be sure to explain everything that happens and write clearly and neatly. THINGS ATTEMPTED SO FAR =========================== What have you done exactly to maybe fix the issue yourself? HAVE YOU SEARCHED ONLINE/ZUNEBOARDS TO FIND A SOLUTION? ========================================================== Simple. Have you searched Online or around ZuneBoards to find an answer to your issue? HAVE YOU RECEIVED ANY ERROR MESSAGES? ======================================== If you have gotten any error messages whatsoever, please label them here. ATTACHMENTS ==================== Here is where you will put any images of the issue (if any). Also remember to clearly label the images so we know whats going on. *WE WON'T PUNISH YOU OR NOT HELP YOU IF YOU DON'T USE THIS TEMPLATE. HOWEVER IT MAY TAKE LONGER TO GET ZUNE HELP IF YOU DON'T USE THIS SUPPORT TEMPLATE.

I got a zune 80 and i have firmware 2.5 and my zune won't respond when i push any of the buttons on the zune pad and i tried restarting it but it won't even let me do that and i haven't got any of those error messages

4gb Zune black (newest version)
don't know what program and I don't know how to download music onto the friggin' thing!! OS X um.... the problem is that I am really stupid (lol just kidding) but I can't figure out how to download the program!! Rather, I am not sure what site to go to and what to download in the first place. Well, other than that, there isn't much more to that. I just need to know what sites are good and what program I need. Maybe a step-by-step explanation, since I can't figure this out on my own! lol Thanks! |
