Hi,
So the Zune 80 is my first mp3 player and I noticed that the max volume (20) is loud but not ear blistering with my UltimateEar buds. Is this normal? I have listened to an Ipod nano with the same ear buds and at half the volume bar the sound is so high it is unbearable. Just want to make sure I don't have a lemon. Thanks. |

hrm...I put mine up to 10 and it's too loud for me. Are you sure you have the plug ALL the way in? The new jack for the headphones in the Zune 80 is really tight so you may think it's in, but it's not.
Hope that helps... if not, you can always call Zune customer service... Assistance by phone seven days a week: 1-877-GET-ZUNE (438-9863) TTY (hearing impaired) 1-800-801-1189 Hours of operation (daily): 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. EST 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. PST

Thanks.
Could have been that the phones were plugged in all the way, because they soung louder now. Now, 10 seems to be about the right volume and 20 is a little too loud for listening...nowhere close to the levels the ipod can get to though. Still glad I chose the Zune ![]() |
