Default does size of file really matter?

i was looking on microsoft help and support to try and figure out whats wrong with my zune 80 and i came across this post.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928650/en-us

why does it matter if the file size is less than 4gb?

Maybe the Zune is formatted in FAT32?
FAT32 only allows files of up to 4GB to be added at a time.
