Moving my files?

Hiya, I really need help. ._.;;
My laptop's getting really full. And I need to delete/move stuff.

I noticed that if I delete a song, the Zune automatically removes it from the device when I sync next. So I'm here's what I'm wondering: Is there any way I can keep it from doing that or something? Or if I move my files to an external hard drive, would my Zune still be able to find them?

Any other suggestions? ._.;; Because I REALLY need to free up some space... *exits out of the Low Disk Space message for the millionth time*

You can always operate in Guest mode, that way it doesn't auto sync.

Or just disable automatic sync altogether. It's under the options menu.

BTW, I'd highly recommend investing in an external hard drive. A [portable one can be bought for about $70. I got one and life's never been the same...

And if you use an external hard drive, as long as the metadata on your tags hasn't changed (which it shouldn't in a transfer), it won't double up.
