Exclamation Problem with storage

So yeah, I plugged in my Zune to my PC a while ago and the space on my Zune was full. The day before, it was only half full. To see what happened, I deleted all the files from my Zune, but I was told that I was still using over half the memory in my Zune. What could be taking up the space, if the is no music, movies or pictures on it?

-[Xaq]-

edit: Sweet, now my Zune program won't even open.

After you reinstall... and If your zune still has storage problems. Reformat it.

Reset with up and back then while the status bar loads hold back left and middle.

you zune will completely reformat and reinstall the firmware from your computer.

Yeah, thats what I thought, but will uninstalling it delete my library?
-[Xaq]-

Edit again: The program opens now, my Zune just takes forever to connect and still says I have only 8.08GB free. Again, I have nothing on it and I have no idea waht could be taking up the space.

I don't think anything is taking up the space.

how much space does it say you have according to the zune device? settings> about> storage?

According to the device itself, it says the same thing: 8.08GB of space left. Also, how would I go about reformatting the Zune itself?

Thanks Nurta, but I kinda found it on my own, through the "How to fully format your Zune" link in the Mods forum (I would post the link but I need 5 or more posts) Unfortunately, it deleted my firmware as well. I just figured I could reupdate it, but I keep getting this stupid "Cannot update sync software at this time, please try again later" message. I have "tried later" multiple times, and still no luck. I think I should uninstall and reinstall the program, but again, will that delete my library?

it will, but if you have it update the library automatically it should rebuild itself just fine.
