I got a hold of a Zune that is broken on the circuit board just to the left of where the head-phone jack is. The Zune itself works fine, but it is always stuck on hold unless you put pressure on the top of the Zune, and the headphone jack doesn't work. My question is if there is a way I can rig the Zune up to fix these problems.
I'll try to get pictures up soon if anyone thinks it will be worth it, or do you guy's think I should just scrap it all together? |

doesn't sound too bad. I assume that the warratny is out of the queston. I would suggest opening it up and hardwiring the hold switch so it is always off (unless you can fix it) and the headphone jack is probably a broken solder point. You could always buy a jack and replace it, depending on the problem or even just reattach the connection (you could switch it out for an 1/4" or something if you want to use those big DJ headphones)
