Yes, in the software but not on the device. Conversely, some albums that show on the device which cannot be seen on software, but at least I want these ones to be there.

keenite try putting the album cover on it again. I know it sounds weird but try it.

I had to use a few different programs to get my album art to stick. Media Monkey ended up working

If your batter isnt lasting long something that i tried and worked is Turn on a video and let your zune play and when it dies wait a hour or so and try to turn it back on. If it does turn back on do the same thing again until you can no longer turn it on. Now charge your zune until the battery meter is green, this will reset your zunes battery. This also works with laptops.

I think somebody else said let it completely die. Then recharge it.

Unfortunately after the latest firmware, I didn't notice change in battery life...maybe I should modify my settings a bit more.

Is there an explanation for this? I mean sure I can do that, but I just want to want to know what the reason for draining your battery and then charging it is?

It's like a reset for your battery so that it can work to it's full potential.

Hello, first post on here. My question is probably "a noobish" question but a simple one I'm sure. I just sent my Zune back to Microsoft for them to check out a problem I had with it and they sent me a replacement Zune. How long should I let it charge before using it? My first Zune, I let it charge the first time for about 4 hours and the battery life didn't seem to be great on it. It's been charging for seven hours now and I guess another question would be if leaving it on would be a bad thing. Thanks for any help.

You should be fine by now. And leaving it on, if you leave it idle for 5min it will automatically shut off.

It should last around 14 hours for music (I think).
