Is it possible to charge your Zune when it is completely OFF?

Just asking, cuz when i put mine on sleep mode and then charge it; It will automatically turn on again once i plug the charge/sync cable back..... so i was wondering if it should be better to charge it when it is completely off.

Is it possible tho, to charge it when is really off?

i do not think so, but really does it matter?

like why do you ask? i mean, mine the screen just goes to backlight and thats all shortly after that it turns back to hibernation and in 1 day it turns off.

cuz right now, im basically charging it while it is still on (everytime i plug the A/C adaptor to my Zune it turns on)

i just thought that all electronics charge when they are really off. Not on sleep mode.

It's actually kind of funny. You try to charge it to get more power back in but it wants to counteract that by turning on.

you can't charge the zune when it's completely off.

I also don't recommend turning completely off at all. It's not included in the instructions for a reason.
