So last night i got a Zune pass and went to go get some music.
I go to get some Queen, and click the download album button, and all the songs switch to Downloading... They stay that way for a while. One of them appears on the Active downloads section with a i in a circle. I then try something simpler, like the Greenday Simpsons Theme on the marketplace front page, this time i try to play it. I get an error box (from both the i and when I play a song), and when I click web help i get error code: C00D1358 original code:80072EFD (i did a search on the boards and got nothing) and MS's help for that error (which I can't seem to post yet) which you could guess, as I'm posting here, there was none. When I first got my Zune I was able to play 30 second trials of songs from the marketplace (this was mid July) Whats up with this? Can anyone help me out? Thanks for reading this. |

thank you for the help
heh, i was backing up the DRM registry key, not the folder i started up in safemode, renamed the DRM folder on the C drive, then did that update I have the option to download again, but it still doesn't work (when trying to play, here is the error message Zune software cannot play the file because a network error occurred. The server might not be available. Verify that you are connected to the network and that your proxy settings are correct. ) is there some option i have to set somewhere? i also called their support, and after 40 min of doing stuff the guy said, i figured out i didn't have windows media player 11 (i never use it) but, as you can tell, that didn't work |
