Default Audio only works on left channel

The right audio channel on my Zune recently stopped working (Left works fine). I have tried plugging it into several different headphones and computer speakers with no luck. I upgraded the firmware as well. There are no other issues that I can see.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? I am guessing now that it is a hardware issue?? Any thoughts?
Thanks so much for any help!
JB

Send it in for repair. Call them and tell them what's wrong. And see if they will repair or replace it.

Sounds like the headphone jack is faulty(one way to check is wiggling it around while your listening, although its not always effective), also is the sound sort of hollow or crackling. if so get it exchanged or send it back to microsoft
