playback problems

why does playbac on zune player or windows media sound like a skipping record. playback sounds fine with limewire's player. my next step is to throw this f#%@ing thing in the garbage.

I noticed that sometimes when a computer lags the songs will skip.
I'm using vista on a 1 gig computer at my uncle's house, when I'm listening to zmp while i'm surfing the web, the song will skip for almost no reason... even when I load a web page.

are you using vista?

I am using vista
.. my zune also skips when disconnected using headphones
