Default 'spot' on screen

well i havent used my zune in a day and i went to use it today. was watching a movie and noticed a spot that stayed while the scenes changed. well after thinking what this could be cause from i only came up with one thing. i had is sitting on my desk with nothing else around it but the headphones. thats the thing, i can only think if it being from my zune headphones. the magnet in it. and the spot is right in the middle of my screen. this makes me very unhappy.

would this be enough to call customer service because it was damaged from the original product. i mean come on this is the one thing i have been worried about since day one. why, why would they put the magnet in?

i thought maybe see what you guys would do in this situation, but i think ill end up calling them anyway.

Can magnets cause dead pixels on screens?

Try getting a replacement Zune.

it doesn't sound like something caused by a magnet... and the headphone magnet isn't strong enough to do anything... and all heaphones have magnets in them... that's how they work.

Could it possibly be stuck pixels? I had dead pixels on my PSP once and there was this video I downloaded that flashed the screen with different colors that unstuck the pixels.
