Default Help W/ Shutoff

Okay, I just got my Zune and I know how to put it in "Standby" but it still takes up power. How can you shut it off completely?

Oh Okay, I thought it was a combo of back and up/down. But also if you press back and up it re-formats it, or somethin' else? I was worried about that,

I was too so i found out the shut down and just never tried any other combos....you can and then post them here but I recommend backing up the zune's files first.

lol... to reformat you have to do more than back and up.

and I don't recomend shutting the zune completely down. it'll only save a little bit of power and I think it caused some major problems with my zune.

umm if you're wondering about how to reformat you have to reset it.. with up and back, or back and down... either one will work. Just as long as you press and hole back left and middle all at the same time, while your zune starts up.

Shut Down:
Back Button + Control Pad Down

Hard Reset:
Back Button + Control Pad Up

Format/Restore:
Hard Reset + Immediately Back Button + OK Button + Control Pad Left, it's not so hard. Just use one thumb on Back and another to hold OK and Left.
