Default Zune Converting Supported Formats

Zune documentation states it supports WMA, MP3 and AAC up to 320 kbs. However, when I attempt to sync files other than WMA and higher than 192 kbs, the Zune software starts to convert.

Am I missing a setting or is this what it is supposed to do?

Thanks!

If it didn't ''support'' the format, then it wouldn't accept them at all. Just because the zune software supports that high of kbps, doesn't mean the zune device can.

Actually, the device can support up to 320Kbps in AAC, WMA or MP3. I had a device setting under the advanced options "on" that I shouldn't have so it was converting everything to 192 Kbps WMA.
