Playlist & syncing

My zune has the habit of re adding songs already on it. I hear you can create a playlist and have it where it only syncs that playlist. there fore you just add music to the playlist and it only syncs that? If this is possible please tell me how. because I have a playlist made but don't know how to tell it to only update from there.

Set the zune to guest mode via the settings in the zune software.
