zune not connecting

my zune worked yesterday...
today i hooked it up and it doesn't connect anymore. It still charges, so I don't think the cord is bad. i reformatted via the button method. still no luck, tried different usb ports, no luck there. when i plug it in, it tells me to plug it in to a high speed usb port, which it always has, because those don't funtion properly, but then nothing. the zune screen doesn't have the connecting screen.
HELP?!

I suggest you uninstall and reinstall the Zune software. It will reinstall the drivers needed.

thanks i'll try that now.

ok i did that, 3 times... this last time it was connected long enough to connect it to my account. now it doesn't connect anymore... it connects to my 360, so i don't know what the problem is, i'll try to find the drivers.

sorry for triple post, but it connected for about 10 seconds, now it just stopped again, so basicly its only able to stay connected for a short period of time, it connects and stays connected to my xbox, so something must be corrupting my drivers...
