Hi, I have a 30gb zune like this one: http://www.gadgets-club.com/images/z...ayer-white.jpg
I recently purchased a wall charger from ebay, this exact same one: http://cgi.ebay.ca/AV-CABLE-CAR-WALL...QQcmdZViewItem I received the charger from the mail today and tested it on my Zune and it failed to charge. I only spent $10 on this so it didn't matter to me that it was defective. However, now I tried recharging my Zune with my original USB cable on my computer and it did not work. The computer does not detect my Zune, and the battery icon stays red with no indication of charging. Everything was working perfectly fine until I decided to test the wall charger on the Zune. Is my Zune fried? Connectors ruined? I tried multiple USB ports and even tried to charge it on my XBox 360 but it did not work. I also tried reseting it. Assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

I doubt it would be the wall charger that ruined it.
When I had a 30gb mine just stopped charging/connecting out of nowhere. Try uninstalling then re-installing your software. This helped my charging problem, and while it didn't help my connecting problem, it does solve the problem sometimes. |

yeah it will, as long as you bought the replacement plan with either a credit card, or with your best buy rewards card it can be tracked.
I went to exchange my zune less than a week ago, didn't have the receipt, but they took care of it. |

this is what another person posted in the other thread.
support.microsoft.com/kb/929358 go here and follow the directions to completely remove zune from the computer. It worked for me and I've done everything under the sun to fix it. |
