I'm thinking about buying a zune but, I have to know about it's DRM. I have several questions.
1) Can you put .mp3's without DRM on the zune? 2) Does the zune change the DRM status of any music files on zune? 3) Does the zune change the DRM status of any music files on my computer? 4) Is there a way, legal or not, to bypass all the DRM restrictions on the zune? |

Here are the answers to your questions:
1) Yes. They will be converted to .wmv's by the Zune software before syncing, though :-\ (shouldn't effect them) 2) No. The DRM of any files before you transfer them onto your Zune remeain the same after being transfred to and on the Zune. The Zune itself, doesn't have a clock, persay, so if you do it right you can actually listen to songs after they've expired 3) No. They remain unchanged. 4) Yes. Just turn the internet off before you open the Zune program. No Zune time website = no expired DRM's |
