Default Sync~~~Piece of !@#$

Bottome line me please.

Can I delete my files on my hard-drive that i have uploaded to Zune, or will i have to keep them?

SETTINGS-SYNC OPTIONS
SETTINGS-SYNC GROUP
MONITORED FOLDERS-COLLECTIONS

ALL OFF/REMOVEDFOLDERS TO SYNC

With these settings it still removes if i connect, very quickly too.

Can IT be done....?
and if not Is there a diff way to upload media without the Zune !@#$ware?

your expertise is appreciated

I'm sorry, but I don't exactly understand how you have your settings, but as long as your media is in unmonitored folders, and you delete them off your hard drive, they will stay on the zune, as long as you don't delete them from the software.
Steps:
1) Put your media in a unmonitored folder
2) You drag and drop the media file in the zune software
3) Sync your content to your zune
4) Delete the files on your computer from the unmonitored folder
5) There's no more steps to follow. The zune software will try to sync the files you've deleted, but instead of deleting it off the zune, it'll skip the file.

You could also set the Zune to Guest mode.

LOL.. you don't have to quote me...LOL anyways, that trick is only for the people using v.2.3 zune software or earlier. It still works for v2.5 zune software though, but there's a better way.

If you have zune software v2.5, you can just go to your collection, delete those file. It'll have a window prompting you to chooice from the following: delete from collection, keep on the zune or delete from collection and delte from the zune. Choose the one that says delete from collection and keep on the zune.
