I accidentally dropped my Zune30 and the top part of the screen cracked. I can still see the bottom half of the screen, but watching videos and locating songs is difficult. I still have my microsoft warranty which ends next month, and I have a Circuit City protection plan, but its not accidental. Is there anyway I can get my screen fixed?

You say you accidentally drop your Zune, and then say it wasn't accidental?
Try either contacting MS or buy a new screen.

Or just say the pad wasn't working and talk at Microsoft.
Send it in and all they do is check the Zune to see if it's been opened. Then they send you a new one.

No, I meant that the Circuit City Protection Plan is not an accidental.
Thanks, though.

you can get a brand new lcd screen with safe opening tools on ebay. then all you have to do is google how to take apart the zune if you dont already know. i got mine this week on ebay for $34, much cheaper than the companys $100 lcd screen without free tools.

There are videos on youtube about how to fix the screen as well. this happened to me too, and the videos saved me. just search for fix zune screen or repair zune its reletively easy to find. and only takes about 10 mins. and like the previous person said buy the screen on ebay. i did that and it worked great.
