Zune Software error on Startup

This just started happening and has become extremely frustrating >

Basically almost everytime I start the zune software, it says that it encountered a problem and needs to close, I have to go through like 5 of these and then the software stays open.

Anyone have any idea how I could go about fixing this, i've tried un-installing the software and re-installing it, but that didn't work.

I've attached a picture of the error from the event viewer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. ;D

What version of windows are you on? Did you try running a virus scan?

Windows XP SP2, and I've tried running a virus scan and nothing came up, did just notice that windows media player 11 is doing it too, so I'm gonna try and unistall that and see if that helps the zune software.

that is truly weird. i've never seen an error like this
have you tried contacting MS?
