Default Salvagable? Expert zune help needed

If you watch the video of my zune ( Being new they wont let me post html so copy and paste this number in google video 7803116681210198286) you will see what is occuring during power up. I have since made mince meat of the hard disk and know I have to replace it now, but am still wondering if a replacement hard disk will fix the problem or not. Thank you.
Noob to zune,
Jason

There is good news and bad news. The good news is that from the sound of it, a new hard drive will fix the problem. The bad news is that the pickup arm appears to be slightly scratching the surface of the plate, causing you to loose data. The Zune uses a ZIP (Zero Insertion Force) type of hard drive, so you will have to find a hard drive that uses that, and that fits. If you get an enclosure for yours, you may be able to salvage it to get the data off if needed.

Well I just found a 30 gb replacement hard drive on ebay for 34 dollars. To kind of fill you in on some more info the data on the hard disk was unimportant, this zune was given to me by a guy I work with because he had dropped it and broke it and I'm the local techno geek so I just wanted to fix it. I am a iPod man and was unsure of the behaviors of a Zune. Thank you for the info on the ZIP.
