Zune 30 Gb software
I just bought the zune 30 for $200 comes with a case but my question is do u have to install the software it gives u or can u install the one on the zune.net?

Just install the one off zune.net. You really don't need the old zune software that comes with the zune 30 anymore. Plus as far as I know zunes with the new firmware cant/don't work with the old zune software. But yeah ditch the old, stick with the new. Download and use the one off zune.net.

I think they are the same.
Just use the software downloaded from Zune.net to be sure.

the old one only works for zune 30.. so if you want a newer version.. you would have to download it off zune.net anyways.. if you use the one that comes with it.. it would probably tell you to upgrade it..
