Uknown Artist

Why does my zune software recognize some of my artists as "unknown artist" when within windows media, they are identified by known name and not as "unknown artist"? Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

why not try locating the files and checking the artist name there? or try reimporting your music.

delete it from the zune software, rename it correctly in your windows... then redrag it and should be corrected..

you should just rename the songs that are like that if there are only a few..if there're a lot, do what the person above me said to do.

hey bro try this,
download and install MP3tag http://www.mp3tag.de/en/

when installed open it up, go to tools, then options. under options Mpeg
check everything like this,
http://s50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...titled11-1.jpg

Then go under the Ape, Mpc and check everything thing like this,
http://s50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...ntitled1-1.jpg

once u do this add all the music that is duplicateing or that has a metadata problem, and re-edit the metadata and save the changes
