Default my zune is possessed!!

ok, so some how a lot of my songs got doubled. 2, some times 3 of the same song. i tried to fix it by erasing the device manually(not from the computer) it worked, everthing was gone. so i assumed i would just plug it back in let it sync up and all 3500+ of my songs would be right back on my zune...un uh. only 388 of the were on the device. what the hell happened? i know all those song are in my library.

Give it a hard reset from the Zune. Make sure your software/firmware is updated to the latest version. Don't let the Zune Software monitor your files, instead drag and drop is easier.

Also before you do what Jon said, try just restarting your device. To restart it press back and up at the same time, and hold those two buttons until you see the zune logo. Sometimes a simple restart can do the trick.
