Converting Videos in Zune Software Error!

Hi, I've got some compatible movies that show up in the zune software. ive already converted these with a third party program to get them to show up in the zune software, but it tries to convert it again when i transfer them. but when I try to convert them, they start to convert then get an error at like 2% done.
they convert super slow too. whats the deal?

When this happened to me I converted the videos with too high a video bit-rate so they had to converted again.

When you convert them, make sure the resolution is at 320 x 240

i personaly use the cucusoft video converter, it works well and when you import video into the zune software no conversion is needed to transfer it to the zune.
