So i have a 30 gb zune and the Pioneer Dehp6000ub. the radio has a USB input that accepts the ipod sync cable and you can pull up the song titles, recharge the ipod, and change the track on the radio. it also works for usb thumb drives. i went on pioneers web site and they said that Not every USB device is compatible. Compatible with MSC (Mass Storage Class) and USB memory device only. Not compatible with DRM (Digital Rights Management) contents and MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) connection players. i dont know if anything can be done to make the zune be able to work with the pioneer adio like the ipod works. i hooked my creative v-plus which the sync cable goes from usb to usb mini 5 pin and the creative powers up aoutomatically. when you change the source on the radio to usb it says NA USB on the radio. when you hook up the zune the zune powers up but you cant change the source to USB because the radio doesnt seem like it recognizes that it is plugged into anything. Any help will be greatly appreciated so i can integrate the zune with my new radio in my car.

Try the HD hack since it's compatible with Mass Storage Class.

the only hack to let you be able to use the zune as a hard drive is computer side with the registry, is there a hack that you can put on the zune so it can be used as a hard drive in aspect that i would be trying to achieve because i havent come across it yet? Thanks for the suggestion you may have started me in the right direction.

Hey I got another idea, if im correct the radio you have also has a seperate function for a cd changer. If so buy the cd changer cable that has a 3mm plug on the other end so you can just plug it into the zunes headphone jack, still wont let you change the track from the radio but you wont have a cord plugged into the front of your radio anymore.

Lots of people have the VR3 car stereos sold by WallyMart and Target. They have a USB port but do not accept Ipod or Zune, except by the Aux In jack. The only way to change this would be to somehow make the Zune emulate a Mass Storage Device.
