PLEASE HELP! Zune 30 wont do ANYTHING!

ok, so yesterday, I bought a 30gig Zune player. I took it out of the box and let it charge for over 3 hours. I installed the cd software and connected my Zune... all I have is a big white battery image on my Zune's screen and it wont reset, turn on or do much of anything at all.. the battery symbol is always there. what can I do to fix this?? PLEASE HELP! thanks!

Put your zune device on hold then hold the back and up buttons at the same time for 30 seconds. and Your zune device should be good to go.

is the zune plugged inton the computer when you see the battery sign.

the battery symbol first came on when I connected the Zune to my pc but it has stayed on since then, whether I have my Zune connected or not. I also cant reset it... any suggestions????
