zune program won't let me change the artist's name!

i have one of the earlier zunes. i got it November of 2006 if that helps. i've never had problems until now. >___<;

on certain songs, even if the properies are altered, they show up with the artist's name misspelled, or in the case of foreign music, comes up in non-english characters. most of the time, i can just edit it in the zune program (because that's the only place it shows up this way...) but some files REFUSE TO CHANGE. i have tried to change this one particular artist's name like half a million times but it just refuses to change. What is up with that? It only does it for a few songs.

how can i get the darn thing to change?

I would either recommend going to My Computer, finding your file and try editing that way, or did you do that? Another way is what SilentBob just suggested, MP3Tag

as in (example) C:\Documents and Settings\(YourName)\My Documents\My Music

or

C:\Documents and Settings\(YourName)\Shared
